Career Camp

Career Camp gives current seventh and eighth graders the opportunity to explore a variety of career options before high school. Participants attend a different career-exploratory class each day.

Past classes have included Animal Planet (veterinary science), Auto Collision Repair, Building for Beginners, Computer-Aided Design, Engines 101 (auto service), Got Ink? (graphic design and printing), Law and Order (criminal justice), Hospitality and Food Management (culinary arts and business), Video Game Innovation, and Welding.

Career Camp takes place Monday through Thursday the third week of June, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A catered lunch is provided from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Too young to attend Career Camp? The Muskegon Area Intermediate School District has a variety of in-depth summer study experiences for students in grades K–6 as part of their WINGS Summer Enrichment programs.
