Lansing Company Donates $1,500 in Appreciation of Student-Gifted Art

Selma Tucker, Director of Marketing and Communications, for Public Sector Consultants (PSC) in Lansing wanted to provide something unique and inspiring to his staff for the holidays.

He contacted Katie Slaghuis, Severe Cognitive Impaired Teacher, at Wesley School for assistance. The students from Room 11 took staff comments and translated them into 32 individual original pieces of canvas artwork for the staff. A special message was sent with each piece of artwork from the student artist.

Mr. Tucker came to Wesley School to receive the artwork, and was overjoyed at the beautiful pieces the students created. PSC provided a $1,500 donation to Wesley School for the artwork.
