- is a data based approach toward behavior
- concentrates on adjusting the system that supports the student
- is implemented by a collaborative, school-based team using person - centered planning
- the emphasis of intervention is on skill building
- can require time (months to years) and patience to develop responsive systems; personalized settings; and appropriate, empowering, and enduring skills
- is supported by the Michigan Department of Education Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services, for use with behaviorally challenged individuals.
If a student doesn't know how to read, we teach. |
