Behavioral Support

The MAISD recognizes that every student is an individual with an inherent right to grow and realize maximum potential. The district strives to create conditions and environments which foster the learning process through a warm, caring and responsible relationship with the student.

MAISD Behavioral Support Services utilizes Positive Behavioral Support techniques to assist parents, school personnel and local community agencies to support students in learning responsible and appropriate behavior. The primary intent of the procedures used by the MAISD is to provide parameters within which staff can implement behavioral support programs in a manner which is safe, supportive and therapeutic for the identified student(s).

"Every student has an inherent right to grow and realize maximum potential."
