Middle School Programs
Each summer the Muskegon Area Career Tech Center (CTC) offers middle school Summer Fun programs that relate to the areas of study offered to high school students. These classes are designed specifically for current sixth, seventh, and eight grade students and are co-sponsored by the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District and the CTC.
Classes are held from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. and/or 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday during the second and third weeks of June. Students enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions have the option of purchasing lunch for a small additional fee.
Since the program's start in 2006 the number of participants as well as the variety of classes offered has increased dramatically. Think your child might be interested? Check back in the spring to download the 2009 enrollment form.
