Summer Fun Programs

Summer Fun 2015 registration opens in april 2015

It's not too early to start thinking about taking classes at the Career Tech Center. Middle School Summer Fun allows incoming sixth, seventh, and eight graders to have a blast slicing and dicing in the culinary arts program, investigating mock crime scenes, building their own metal creations in welding, and so much more!

Classes are held Monday–Thursday the third and fourth weeks of June. Morning and afternoon sessions are available. Lunch may be purchased for an additional fee for students attending a morning and an afternoon session.

A limited number of scholarships are available based on financial need. One of the following criterion must be met to qualify:

  • Bridge card
  • Food stamp recipient
  • S.S.I.
  • Extenuating circumstances approved by an administrator

Watch for the downloadable version of the 2015 brochure in April 2015 or ask your child if he/she received one at school. Then mail or drop-off your completed registration at the Muskegon Area Career Tech Center at 200 Harvey Street in Muskegon along with payment.
